When fall family photo season finally arrives!
September has been a busy time for me in my business.
I have had numerous shoots that I have already wrapped, as well as a few still in editing stages. Business has truly started to take on a life of its own, with several more clients asking about bookings than I have had in the past. I’ve started to market myself more and reach out to new clients on a regular basis and it has been paying off!!
I have also started to place a solid focus on the actual business operating side of things – from marketing to accounting to running a solid business. I have been running this business as more of a hobby or as a “momtog” in the past and I’ve finally decided to get serious about it all and see where it leads me. I’ve been working with a life / business coach and I’m taking a course on the business side of a photography business. I’m also going to be launching a blog and will be keeping this one far more updated than I clearly have in the last year!
Some things in the works are actually creating a welcome package, developing a frequent shooter program, developing a referral program, better quality prints, print packages as opposed to simply just digital downloads, and better gear and equipment.
2020 is shaping up to be an exciting time for me here at Deanna Marr Photography and I can’t wait for it all to shake up and launch in the new year! For now, here are some shots from my most recent shoots!
