A sweet mommy and me session turned into a little family of three portrait session!
This past May, I ran a mommy and me mini session day at a local Edmonton studio. The Photographer’s Studio is full of cute antique styled furniture. In fact, it has various backdrops and props available to us photographers. One of my clients asked if she could bring her partner. So, we did a little family of three portrait session!
On this occasion, we used every aspect of this studio to have a variety of images to include in their package. The backgrounds varied, from the various textured walls, the furniture and the plants around the studio. Between choosing different locations in the room and varying the poses, I was able to offer them many different images to choose from. I always aim to provide a large variety of images for my clients to choose from, that include individual photos of the kids, sibling portraits, and images of mom and dad as well!
Daddy’s girl!
I loved that this mommy and me duo brought daddy along with them for family photos!! This amazing little fireball is definitely a daddy’s girl. Hence, I could tell right away that both these beautiful ladies have daddy wrapped around their little fingers (in the best way possible!). Obviously, he feels the same way, judging by the smile on his face. He adores his girls as much as they adore him!
The best part of the afternoon was trying to explain to the youngster that people actually used to use old rotary phones for phone calls! Previously, we used to be attached to a wall! (And now we carry a phone around in our pockets so we can ignore calls and play on the internet! Times have sure changed!) She was loving the phone! I just had to get a photo of her talking on it!
