This family booked a fall family photo session with me, and they had a little surprise to share as well!
Fall in Edmonton is a photographer’s dream and I love being able to take family photos in such beautiful locations, and it means even more when couples book the sessions for extra special reasons.
Chris and I met almost two decades ago while we were both in school to be automotive mechanics. We stayed in touch over years and I was super excited when she asked me to do her fall family photos. It was a no brainer for me to book her in. Little did I know what she and her hubby had planned!
We went through my normal session, getting a variety of poses, which include the parents, solos of the kids, dad with kids and mom with kids, and of course the family photo. At the end, they asked for just a few more after a quick outfit change. Out comes a daddy bear shirt, a mommy bear shirt, a BROTHER bear shirt AND a baby bear ONESIE!! They were ready to tell the world that Will was going be a big brother the following spring!
It is capturing moments and memories like this that makes my heart so happy and the reason I do what I do. Knowing that this family has these images to look back on and share with their children later in life means the world to me and I am truly blessed to capture memories for my clients.
