This family portrait session was definitely a test of all of our patience. And it wasn’t the kiddos that were testing it!
Jessie asked me if I wanted to do some family photos for her and Andrew. I’ve known Andrew for 20 years and love seeing his family grow, so it was easy to say yes! We had already rebooked this session once because our weather this summer err in Edmonton was very rainy.
On the day of the re-book, I arrived at their house in the middle of a rain storm. It was pouring. We sat in the living room, all watching the window, hoping the rain would pass.
After a few occasions of thinking it was over, the skies finally parted. We made our way to the cutest park across the street that I had never been to. My clients pick the best spots and I was totally loving their neighborhood.
We managed to get their session in and done before the skis clouded back up and the rain returned. We were happy to get the photos in and the kids were in great spirits. Big brother is pretty awesome dealing with his baby sister. Andrew and Jessie have one amazing family and I’m grateful they were patient enough to wait out the rain!
