Oh, sweet little Jamison – what a blessing it has been to watch you grow up and I love hearing how well your vocabulary has grown with you!! This has been my favorite mommy and son photo session to date!
This is the third fall in a row I’ve been able to capture some memories of Danielle and her son in their annual mommy and son photo session. This is also the third different location for their family portraits. It feels good to have some variety in our images!
It’s a pleasure to watch my clients’ families grow year after year.
When I first met little Jamison, he was very quiet and didn’t have much to say to me. But he sure knew how to turn on his charm for the camera! This year, he had lots to say to me. It was amazing to see him come out of his shell! This mama has been working very hard with him at home when it comes to his vocabulary. She should be so incredibly proud of Jamieson!
The Beauty of Rundle Park
This year, we had our session in Rundle Park. This area never ceases to bring me joy whenever I have the chance to do a session there! It is absolutely beautiful during the short falls here in Edmonton. There are so many options for backdrops for your portraits! From bridges, ponds, the mighty North Saskatchewan River, to treed pathways, park benches, and open fields, you can really have tremendous variety in your portraits in Rundle Park.
The Annual Mommy and Son Photo Session is so important to this mom.
I am honored that Danielle has asked me year after year. I love to document the relationship she has with her son with these mommy and son photo sessions. Annual family portraits are a wonderful way to watch your children grow and to capture their uniqueness in this current season of life before it slips away.
It is my hope that they can look back on these portraits when Jamison is an adult and take a walk down memory lane. I can’t wait to see you next year, Jamison!!
